Kerala was recently awarded PATA 2009 Gold Award in the marketing - state/Destination category. Kerala's entry "Dream Season in God's Own Country" was judged as the "best in class" from amongst 236 enteries across the world.
The state also bagged Best Travel Destinations and Best State Tourism Board Award at the CNBC travel awards 2009.
