Surajkund mela - A Cornucopia of Handicraft

This year marks the 21st year of Surajkund mela, and each passing year tends to ameliorate the number of guest in this fair. People from all across the nation visit this fair for the rich reason of viewing the best of art forms from all across the
country. Inaugurated by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, the mela is 15 day affair which last for an year for many lovers. This year art and culture from Andhra Pradesh is being highlighted. You had stalls from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa.


Thailand Stall was getting all the attention as they bought in dried flowers which spread colors around.

The only stall left out was Kashmir, where nobody was daring to peep. ( God knows.. why?) As for foodies, the mela endorsed number of eateries from different states. ( Though I satiated on Maggi, Sarson ka Saagh and Makke ki Roti).
