Hampi Festivals in Karnataka

Hampi Utsav, celebrated in November, is a festival organized by Karnataka Government. This is a cultural fiesta is organized to promote tourism in Hampi. Stage performances, folk arts, village sports, exhibitions are few activities of the festivals. This is an annual festival held for three days. These festival is held very near to Hampi ruins.

You can purchase local products from these markets. The stalls are present for around 15 days. The Song and Drama division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Bangalore organizes these show.

Eminent artiste perform dance and drama shows making it Hampi Festival an cultural extravaganza. Cylce Race, Water Sports, and treasure hunt are the few other activities in which a tourist can get involved.

Major Attraction:
This year as well the major attractions of the festival would be the Heritage Walk. This would cover the ruins of Hampi and would be practically done on foot. A well accomplished guide in batches of 10- 15 tourist would carry forward in heritage trail.
