Dolphins are rarely found in the Indian Oceans. But, you can find some in the coasts of Goa and Kozhikode (Kerala).
In Kerala
Kozhikode - About 15 minutes drive from the city centre is a place called 'Dolphin's Point' where one can see dolphins playing in the sea, early in the morning. The Beach, is about 2 km from the town center.
In Goa
Dolphin Cruises are the main attractions on this beach of Goa. The chances of spotting dolphins prance about are very high. You would generally find them swimming around in groups.
